1. How do I submit a business plan?

You can submit your business plan via e-mail to
newdeal@commerce-ventures.com.my

Please include complete information on the company overview, business model, goals,

how to reach the goals, description of products and/or services offered, historical and

forecast financial and team's background in your business plan. We also have
samples

to guide you along.
2. Who will have access to my business plan after I submit it?

Your business plan will be treated with great confidentiality by Commerce-Ventures'

staff, affiliates and Investment Committee.
3. Can I send my business plan via fax or mail?

4. Does my company have to be a high technology company to work with
Commerce-Ventures?

No. Our investee companies are those from the communications technology,

information technology, healthcare, manufacturing and service industries.
5. Do I have to pay any processing fee to submit my plan to Commerce-
Ventures?

No, the application process is free.
6. How else does Commerce-Ventures help my company other than raising
venture capital?

We also offer advice on the development of business models, financing strategies

and organisational infrastructure as well as guidance on presentation, negotiation

and valuation techniques. We work with emerging companies to develop alliances,

partnerships and key customer relationships. In addition, we also help them create

effective marketing and communication strategies.
7. What does Commerce-Ventures look for in a company?

We evaluate companies based on the following criteria:

i. Companies that focus on communications technology, information technology,

healthcare, manufacturing and service industries that have large, specific

markets.

ii. Companies that have developed the basic idea and business strategy,

assembled its talented team and perhaps made progress raising their own

capital or funds.

iii. Companies with an aggressive, sustainable growth-oriented business plan that

can become the market leader. The plan must also present how the company

can earn profits and provide investors with significant returns on their

invested capital in the near future.

iv. Passionate, talented, experienced entrepreneurs who have a deep

understanding of their market space and the business model underlying their

company's success.

v. Note that we do not invest in the following sectors - property and construction.
8. Does Commerce-Ventures take any equity stake in my start-up?

The compensation Commerce-Ventures earns for assisting your company with its

financing activities includes an opportunity to purchase stocks in your company.
